Let’s talk

Delivery & engineering

A clear process.
Accountable decisions.

From the first workflow discussion to a usable release, our delivery approach makes scope, responsibilities and review points explicit.

THE DELIVERY LIFECYCLE

Five phases, with a purpose at each stage.

A focused automation and a multi-module platform need different amounts of planning, but both benefit from a shared understanding of the problem, the work and the release decision.

01

Discovery & business analysis

Map the people, decisions and information involved in the workflow. Review the existing tools, exception cases and business constraints before recommending a build.

Planning outputs

  • Current-state workflow map
  • Stakeholder and user roles
  • Prioritised problem statement
  • Feasibility and dependency review
02

Solution design & scope

Define the first release, its boundaries and how success will be evaluated. Translate the workflow into screens, data structures and integration requirements.

Planning outputs

  • Scope and exclusions
  • User journeys and screen plan
  • Data and integration design
  • Milestones and acceptance criteria
03

Engineering & review

Build in reviewable increments. Validate the important business rules with your team as the application and integrations take shape.

Planning outputs

  • Working preview builds
  • Business-rule implementation
  • Role-based application flows
  • Feedback and change tracking
04

Validation & release

Test the agreed workflows, error cases and permissions. Confirm the release checklist, data preparation and responsibilities before moving to live use.

Planning outputs

  • Workflow acceptance review
  • Access and validation checks
  • Deployment and rollback plan
  • Launch readiness checklist
05

Handover & improvement

Explain how to operate the system and manage its dependencies. Use operational feedback to prioritise improvements and define any ongoing support arrangement.

Planning outputs

  • Operating documentation
  • Team walkthrough
  • Known limitations and recovery steps
  • Prioritised improvement backlog

ENGINEERING & DELIVERY

The operating details are part of the solution.

A working screen is one part of a system. Permissions, failure handling, acceptance criteria and handover determine how it behaves in everyday use.

Access by responsibility

Identify who can view, create, approve and change each type of information. Plan authentication and permissions around those responsibilities.

Reliable integrations

Define what happens when a connected service is slow, unavailable or returns unexpected data. Include validation, recovery and operational visibility where the workflow requires them.

Human oversight for AI

Set clear limits on model behaviour. Use representative examples, source context and human approval for decisions that need business accountability.

Usability in daily work

Design for the devices, connectivity and working conditions of actual users. Review empty states, errors and common tasks alongside the main workflow.

Clear release decisions

Use agreed acceptance criteria to decide what is ready for release. Keep changes, assumptions and unresolved issues visible during delivery.

Maintainable ownership

Document accounts, deployment steps, integrations and administrative tasks. Agree on source-code access, licensing and ongoing responsibilities in the project terms.

WORKING RESPONSIBILITIES

A partnership with clear ownership.

The proposal identifies who supplies information, approves decisions and accepts the completed workflow.

CHANGE & RELEASE MANAGEMENT

Keep the project understandable as it evolves.

Scope changes

New requirements are assessed for their effect on the agreed scope, dependencies, fees and delivery plan. The change is confirmed before it becomes part of the implementation.

Progress reviews

Agree on the people, channels and review cadence at the start. Use working previews and a prioritised issue list to keep feedback specific and actionable.

After the release

Define the handover, initial support boundaries and longer-term maintenance arrangement. Improvements should have a clear priority and a named business owner.
