Getting started
What should we prepare before an initial conversation?
Bring one workflow you want to improve, who uses it, the tools involved and an example of the current problem. Screenshots or anonymised sample documents can be useful. You do not need a finished technical specification.
How do you decide whether we need AI, automation or custom software?
We start with the task and its rules. Predictable steps often suit conventional automation. AI can help with language, documents and unstructured information. A custom application is useful when teams need a shared workspace or a process that existing tools cannot support well.
Scope & delivery
How are project cost and delivery dates decided?
The proposal follows a review of the scope, integrations, users, data, dependencies and acceptance criteria. The delivery plan separates the first release from later enhancements. Pricing and dates are confirmed in the agreed scope.
Can we start with one department or workflow?
Yes. A focused first release can establish the data model and operating approach without requiring the entire organisation to change at once. We identify the interfaces and dependencies needed for later expansion.
Integrations & data
Can you work with our existing software?
We review the available APIs, exports, permissions and vendor restrictions. Where integration is feasible, we can build around the existing tools. Feasibility and any third-party costs are confirmed before the implementation scope is agreed.
What happens to our existing spreadsheets and records?
Data preparation is scoped separately where needed. The plan should identify the source of truth, required fields, cleanup responsibilities and how imported records will be validated before the live workflow depends on them.
AI & quality
How do you handle incorrect or incomplete AI answers?
The assistant is given a defined task and permitted information. We plan evaluation examples, uncertainty handling and fallback behaviour. Important business decisions can require human review; AI accuracy is not treated as an unconditional guarantee.
How do you approach permissions and sensitive information?
We define access by role, review what data the workflow needs and identify which services will process it. Retention, provider choices and approval steps are discussed during planning. Exact controls depend on the system and agreed requirements.
Ownership & support
Who owns the software, accounts and project materials?
Source-code access, account ownership, documentation and licensing are agreed in the project terms. Third-party products and open-source dependencies retain their own licences. These responsibilities should be clear before development starts.
What happens after launch?
Handover covers the agreed operating instructions, administration and known dependencies. Maintenance, response expectations, enhancements and any ongoing support are defined as part of a separate agreed arrangement or the project scope.
Products
Can we start using Alux now?
Yes. Alux is live and ready for architectural fabricators, engineers, and workshops. You can launch the web studio directly at alux.vasudev-ai.in, install the desktop PWA, or download the native Android APK.
